The Groen Z099222 Pressure Switch 1/4" NPT is used to detect fluctuations in the pressure of the boiler and open or close its internal contacts to enable the control to heating cycles. It operates on the concept of the detecting the level of pressure and either on or off electrical signals when predetermined thresholds are exceeded. This switch is attached to the pressure port or manifold of the boiler. It is installed in the control assembly of the boiler, and to safe operation by indicating when the pressure conditions need to be changed.
