Blodgett 36506 Thermistor Probe W/ Wire Lead Mark V Xcel Series is a key device for temperature sensing and control ovens. This probe contains a thermistor, a temperature sensitive resistor. The resistance of thermistor also changes proportionally as oven temperature changes. The control board of the oven measures this resistance change and can therefore control the temperature precisely. The benefits are improved temperature accuracies and uniformity within the oven chamber, improved cooking consistency and quality as well as minimization of temperature variance by reducing the temperature variation.
