Description

The Pitco PTPP10770 Safety Valve controls the flow of natural gas to a burner by opening and closing an internal solenoid based on electrical signals from the appliance's control system. It runs on 24 VAC or 12 VDC power and holds a 3.5" water column pressure rating, cutting off gas flow immediately if the safety circuit senses a fault or interruption. This part is installed in the gas supply line of commercial cooking equipment, connecting through a 1/2" female pipe thread fitting. It supports regulated ignition timing and prevents unburned gas buildup, supporting safer operation of gas-fired systems and kitchen appliances.
