The Blakeslee 02255 Pump Seal is a tight fitting cap that prevents the leakage of fluid around the valve shaft. It work through compressing on the rotating shaft, keeping in touch with it and ensuring movement and fluid flow control. It is installed in the motor housing and is designed to fit into the part in order to be aligned and work. This is placed at the junction between the engine shaft and the casing, which is an essential interface between the moving and stationary parts.
