Description

The Randell RF VLV350 Expansion Valve 1/4-ton is designed for low-temperature refrigeration systems using R134A refrigerant. It regulates the amount of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator according to the thermal conditions at the evaporator outlet, the valve is installed in the refrigeration circuit between the liquid refrigerant line and evaporator inlet. During operation its internal mechanism modulates refrigerant flow as the evaporator load changes to maintain the required refrigerant feed. The valve uses a 1/4-inch sweat inlet and 3/8-inch sweat outlet with an internal equalizer, it measures approximately 4.65 inches long and 3.45 inches wide.
