The Randell RDRFVLV404 Low Temp Expansion Valve meters refrigerant entering the evaporator by adjusting flow in response to changes in system temperature and pressure during the cooling cycle. It continuously regulates refrigerant delivery to maintain the intended operating conditions for low-temperature applications. The 1/4-ton capacity matches compatible low-temperature refrigeration systems, where the valve is installed in the liquid line as part of the refrigerant metering assembly.
