The T&S Brass 000763-20 Removable Seat for B-1100 Faucets provides a removable sealing surface within the body of the faucet where the stem of the valve makes contact to prevent the flow of water when closed. Fluid flows past the seat when water pressure is exerted and the valve is open and it blocks flow when the valve is switched to the closed position and the stem presses against the seat. It is fitted in the cartridge of compatible B-1100 series faucets, in which the removable seat design allows service or replacement without having to take out the entire faucet.
