The Southbend 1177541 Rocker Switch 7/8″ × 1-1/2″ DPST is a two-circuit electrical switch that is used to open or close internal contacts when the rocker is switched. Upon actuation, the switch causes the contacts to be moved to either permit current to pass through both poles or break it, giving synchronized on/off control with a single actuator. It is attached to the control panel of compatible equipment and mounted via a cutout with terminals available to make wiring connections. The double-pole/single-throw type will allow two circuits in food service or industrial appliances to be controlled simultaneously.
