The Royal Range 1900 Infrared Broiler Top Grate Cast Iron 3" x 21" is used as a top rack that works as a cooking surface, ensuring that food remains elevated and does not touch the appliance burner assembly directly. Constructed from cast iron, it efficiently captures heat from the infrared system, ensuring uniform distribution across the grate surface via direct contact and thermal conduction to nearby metal parts. The grate is used in the broiler section of an effectively sized appliance, resting securely on support rails within the broiler cavity and aligning with the heating element assembly.

Supporting cookware above the burner section, the Royal Range 1900 top grate is a cast iron cooking surface component installed on commercial range equipment.
