The Bakers Pride S1056A Dial 2-1/2" DIA 300-650°F maintains the heat by moving a pointer along a curved scale between 300°F and 650°F to enable the internal thermostat to control the amount of warmth emitted. The energy output of the skillet is adjusted by turning the dial and this assists in sustaining the required cooking conditions. It's 2-1/2" in diameter, intended to fit on the front of the kitchen appliance, and to allow convenient temperature adjustments when it is in operation, it is designed to fit into standard control panels.
