The APW 2092702 Gas Griddle Pilot Safety Valve controls the supply of gas to the pilot and lights up when needed and closes off the fuel when there is no flame present. It is an automatic system that reacts to the pilot flame condition to ensure constant gas control. The valve is installed in the gas line of a commercial griddle so that it is placed close to the pilot assembly to fit into the ignition system of the appliance and to ensure that it works as it should without disrupting other parts of the appliance.
