Description

The Star Mfg 2V-9495 Safety Pilot Valve 3/8" is a vital mechanical part that controls the flow of gas to a burner system depending on the presence of a pilot flame. It uses a thermal sensing element to keep an internal passage open which automatically closes, to end the supply of fuel in case the pilot light goes off. This element is fitted in the manifold assembly between the primary gas supply line and the burner orifice. This particular valve model has 3/8" NPT connections to allow it to be properly integrated into high-output commercial kitchen equipment.
