Delfield 2194335 Safety Thermostat 480 F is a replacement part that measures the temperature at which it is operating and shuts off. It clears by bringing the control path back to the normal range and synchronizes with the control circuit of the unit. The component is normally installed in-line on the heating circuit close to the source of heat within the equipment cabinet. It is built to handle high temperatures up to 480°F and can be shut down in a controlled manner in the event of an abnormal heat condition.
