The Blodgett 55127 Pizza Oven Pilot Safety Valve 1/4" Tube Fitting TS11 works by regulating the gas flow to the pilot burner, and by automatically turning off the pilot flame in case the pilot flame is extinguished. It operates on a thermocouple connection which detects the presence of heat in the flame and maintains the valve open only when ignition is detected which provides appropriate regulation of the gas flow during operation. This safety valve is placed in the gas train assembly of the oven, which is connected to the pilot burner using a 1/4 inch tube to ensure safe and efficient use of the heating system of the oven.
