Description

The Scotsman SC03-1539-09 Retaining Ring Components are put together by fitting the component in a machined groove and then applying radial tension to maintain the parts in place when in use. This dilates or constricts as it is installed to form a mechanical stop that restricts the axial movement in an assembly. It is set in slots in shafts or in bores of compatible equipment. As a replacement component, it will support the proper positioning of adjacent parts and spacing, based on the normal operating conditions. It is used together with retaining ring tools and procedures in foodservice equipment assemblies.
