Description

The Scotsman SC11-0540-22 Ice Sensor Set monitors frozen levels in compatible commercial systems. Installed in the ice storage bin or evaporator the sensor detects the presence or absence of ice and sends signals to the machines control system. It works with the compressor, water supply and ice-making cycles to automatically stop production when bins are full and resume when ice is needed. By providing accurate ice-level feedback the sensor kit prevents overproduction reduces energy waste and maintains consistent ice quality. This component is commonly used in restaurants, and high-volume commercial kitchens.
