Description

The Scotsman SCA37708-021 Bin Level Control works by using a sensor-based system that monitors the amount of ice inside the storage bin and sends a signal to the control board, when a preset level is reached. It operates through electrical sensing that detects ice presence in conductivity/temperature as the bin fills, allowing the machine to automatically start or stop ice production based on demand. This prevents overfilling and assists in regulating ice production cycles. It is installed inside ice machines, typically mounted in the bin area where ice accumulates, so it can accurately detect the fill level during normal operation.
