Description

The Scotsman 11-0493-03 Hot Gas Valve 120V 200RB 4T3 works by the use of an electromagnetic solenoid to raise a plunger, which allows high-pressure refrigerant vapor to pass by the condenser. This heat is directly deposited into the evaporator plate from ice cubes in the harvest cycle of the machine. The component is mounted between the internal cooling lines between the compressor discharge and the evaporator inlet. This particular 120-volt assembly makes sure the mechanical switch between the freezing and harvesting processes is carried out.
