Description

The Scotsman 16-1144-22 Ice Machine Thermal Expansion Valve Kit meters refrigerant entering the evaporator circuit by responding to temperature and pressure changes. The valve adjusts the coolant passage according to conditions at the sensing point controlling the amount of cooling fluid entering the low-pressure side. The tubing connections link the valve with the surrounding refrigeration circuit while the sensing arrangement transmits evaporator conditions back to the regulating mechanism.
