The Frymaster 8158000 Loctite 567 Thread Sealant for Pipe Threads fills the gaps between metal pipe threads by coating the threads and curing to form a sealing layer. The sealant, when used, encircles the threaded connection, which prevents the leakage of gases or liquids along the joint. It is put on the male threads of compatible pipe fittings, where two threaded parts are to be joined. The formulation is intended to be applied to metal piping systems in food service equipment, which facilitates secure and sealed connections in the assembly and service.
