The Cleveland KE00151 Trunnion Segment Gear is used to transfer mechanical force to enable the kettle, or pan assembly to be tilted in a controlled manner. When the gear comes into contact with the mating components,it facilitates easy movement when performing lifts or tilts. This segment gear is on the trunnion shaft as part of the tilt mechanism, which is attached to the frame and aligned with the drive system. It is compatible with equipment, which means that it will interface with gears, shafts and bearings. The equipment is used as a motion-transfer element in the tilt unit.
