The Star Mfg SHO-197842 Quartz Element is a heat generator that converts electrical energy into radiant energy by use of a quartz tube. The element is supported using the ceramic end-to-end insulators during operation and to isolate the electrical connections. This part is mounted in the heat section of any compatible Star equipment and is mounted in a manner that vents the heat over the cooking surface. Its length is 12 1/4", and it has 11" wire leads which are connected to the electrical. The element is mounted in special brackets.
