The Groen 108554 Sight Glass Assembly 1-1/4" NPT is a visual display of the amount of liquid inside a steam-jacketed kettle. The assembly operates by letting the fluid fill the glass tube which is attached to the inside of the kettle. This allows an operator to view the amount of product without having to open the lid. This is an external sight glass assembly attached usually on the lower side and attached to the inside through threaded ports. It is a necessary element to measure the liquid levels in the cooking and mixing processes.
