Description

The Stero P542815 Dishwasher Hot Water Solenoid Valve 3/4" 120V 125 PSI controls the flow of hot liquid into an appliance by opening and closing an internal plunger mechanism when voltage is applied to the coil. The energized coil generates a magnetic field that lifts the plunger, allowing pressurized water to pass through the valve body, while de-energizing the coil causes the spring-loaded mechanism to close and stop flow through the inlet path. It is installed on the dishwasher fluid inlet line, where the hot water supply connection interfaces with the internal wash system plumbing.
