The Manitowoc 000002048 Solenoid Coil 110-120V changes electrical power into a magnetic field that when energized, activates a valve or control mechanism attached to it. On the application of power, the coil forms magnetism that causes an internal plunger to move to permit controlled fluid or mechanical flow. This element is mounted in compatible commercial equipment assemblies in which solenoid-operated controls are necessary. Intended to be used with a power supply of it can be used to provide the same cycle of operation in automated systems. The coil is connected to existing wiring and directly mounted.

Installation Steps

Step1: Disconnect power and apply lockout/tagout before servicing the ice machine.
