The Cleveland 222231 Fill Solenoid Valve regulates the flow of water into the steamer chamber and closes and opens according to electrical signals. It switches on when the steamer needs water, so that it can be filled to the correct amount to ensure that the right amount of steam is present during cooking. This 120V valve has a 1/4" female pipe thread connection so that it can easily be fitted into the water supply line. It is installed within the steamer unit, directly on the water inlet to allow smooth running in the system.
