The Star Mfg SK9-EZG-995 Gas Griddle Pilot and Ignitor Assembly utilizes an accurate system alongside an ignition part to generate a spark or flame that ignites the pilot burner. This mechanism provides effective ignition of the primary gas burners while synchronizing valve release and spark production to enhance burner efficiency and ensure uniform heat distribution across the cooking surface. It is placed in the burner section of the proper gas griddles. It is mounted next to the burner manifold and control valve assembly, inside the lower cooking compartment frame, where it forms part of the ignition system.
