The Structural Concepts 21-17098 Evaporator Pan Assembly With Element collects, and evaporates condensate, and provides heat to eliminate ice formation by assembling pan with an in-built heating element. It operates by directing the condensate into the pan where the electric component heats the surface, resulting in the collected water vaporizing and returning to the airflow rather than pooling. This assembly is installed below the evaporator coils in the refrigeration unit and is placed at the bottom of the cold compartment, interconnected with the drain and electrical connections.
