Description

The Cleveland 00908 Convection Steamer Lubricant is used to seal an O-ring to minimize friction between the O-ring and the surface upon which it is moving or sealing. It forms a lubricating film that covers the O-ring surface and enables smooth motion and ensures proper contact between the O-ring and the sealing system. Compatible convection steamers can use the lubricant directly in the sealing areas of the O-rings. It is designated as Molykote Super O-Lube 2, which is designed to lubricate O-ring assemblies for normal use. Before inserting the ring into its mating connection or groove, the compound can be applied to the sealing surface.
