The BKI (Barbeque King) SB7656 Thermister Probe with Fitting is an essential part that measures the temperature of the fryer oil by measuring the change of electrical resistance that is proportional to the heat level. This is transmitted to the control system of the fryer, which can monitor and control the temperature of cooking. The probe is normally fitted straight into the fryer tank or housing using the fitting that is provided, and makes sure that it is in the oil or is as near as possible to the heating element. It is designed to be connected to the standard commercial fryers.
