The Jackson 6401-021-83-83 Thermostat Kit Rinse Regulator 1/4" x 6-1/2" Tempstar regulates the flow of water during the rinse cycle to maintain the desired temperature. It works by a temperature-sensitive sensing element which opens and closes the valve to allow more or less water to pass based on the requirements. This thermostat is fitted in the water line of the dishwasher and the sensing probe is placed in the rinse water line and the valve assembly is placed close to the control system to regulate the temperature during the operation.
