Victory 50307301 Thermostat Auxiliary Switch KA 48" Cap 5-1/4" x 3/8" Bulb operates by adjusting and regulating the temperature in refrigeration or heating systems. It operates by placing a sensing bulb and capillary tube with a fluid that is sensitive to temperature and is able to expand or contract when the heat changes, which in turn causes the switch to control the flow of electricity. This thermostat is placed in the control housing or temperature control section of the unit and the sensing bulb is placed in the airflow or point of contact to provide proper temperature detection and a stable operation of the system.
