The Star Mfg WS-60892 Thermostat K 3/16" X 11-5/8" X 42" CAP is a temperature controller that measures the amount of heat and closes or opens the electrical circuit to the heating coil. It switches off and on to keep the temperature constant in the appliance. The thermostat is intended to be fitted into commercial cooking or warming parts and it is mounted directly into the unit and connected to the 42" capillary tube to be integrated into the existing temperature control system of the appliance.
