The Hussmann 225013015 Thermostat K-80-48 regulates the cooling cycle by detecting the temperature inside the refrigeration unit and adjusting the cooling cycle to the desired setting when in use. It operates by a sensing bulb and control system that responds to changes in temperature by either closing or opening the electric circuit to the compressor. This thermostat is mounted on the control panel of the unit or in the cabinet assembly and the sensing bulb is installed in the refrigerated space to directly check the internal temperature conditions.
