The Hatco 02.16.131.00 Thermostat 48" Capillary is a temperature sensor and controller that detects the presence of heat by detecting the heat using its internal element and opening or closing electrical contacts to control heating cycles. Once the temperature has reached the set point, the thermostat breaks the power supply to the heating element and restarts the power supply as the temperature falls. It is mounted on a port or mounting bracket in the equipment, and the sensing element is placed where it is needed to be measured accurately.
