The Garland 1801401 Range Top Burner Pilot Assembly Aluminium W/2 Straight Arms 4.5" L1/8" CCT is used to provide a controlled flow of gas to a pilot orifice where the gas is ignited to form a continuous pilot flame. This flame is kept on to start the main burner in case gas is emitted via the burner ports. The assembly is placed next to the open top burner and fitted on the cooktop frame to ensure that the pilot flame is aligned with the burner ports. It is made of tubing and straight arms and is attached to the gas supply by a fitting.
