Description

The True 800202 Evaporator Coil 27 x 8 3/4 x 3 1/4 is a circulation of refrigerant in its tubing to absorb the heat of the surrounding air as the changes state. Air flows over the coil surface and heat transfer takes place which supports in cooling cycle in the system. This is located within the part of compatible refrigeration units, which is located behind interior panels with airflow flowing over the coil. The size of the coil measured can be incorporated into specific assemblies with appropriate spacing of airflow.

Step1: Turn off the power to the system before starting.

Step2: Remove shelving or panels to access the evaporator coil.

Step3: Disconnect the lines carefully according to safety procedures.

Step4: Remove the old coil from its housing without bending fins.

Step5: Install the new coil in the same orientation as the old one.

Step6: Reconnect refrigerant lines securely and check for leaks.

Step7: Reinstall panels and shelves, ensuring airflow is unobstructed.

Step8: Restore power and test the system for proper cooling operation.

  • What maintenance is required for the True 800202 Evaporator Coil?

Clean the coil regularly to remove dust, grease, and debris. Inspect for corrosion, leaks, and bent fins. Proper maintenance ensures efficient heat exchange, prevents ice buildup, and maintains optimal refrigeration performance.

  • What are the common issues with the True 800202 Evaporator Coil?

    • Reduced cooling efficiency from dirt or debris buildup.
    • Refrigerant leaks due to corrosion or cracks.
    • Bent fins restricting airflow.
    • Ice accumulation from faulty defrost cycles.
    • Unusual noise from airflow obstruction or vibration.
