The Jackson 4820-002-53-77 Vacuum Breaker 3/4" Brass is used to avoid reverse flow and ensure that the fluid systems have the correct pressure. It is fitted on water supply lines to prevent siphoning, such that contaminated water is not able to re-enter the main system. It is widely utilized in commercial kitchen appliances and is a protective element that maintains the integrity of the water supply. It is connected directly to the inlet, and water flows to the system in normal conditions when a vacuum is formed, which opens the vacuum breaker to allow air to enter, preventing contamination of the system.
