The American Range A80109 Burner Valve 1/8" internal mechanism is adjusted by rotating the handle of the valve to allow the flow when the passage is open and to stop it when it is closed. It is fitted in a system in which the 1/8-inch male pipe thread is attached to the supply side and the 3/8-27 fitting is attached to the downstream component. This valve is used in applications that are intended to use that thread configuration in commercial kitchen equipment.
