Description

The Nieco 12741 Solenoid Valve controls the flow of gas within compatible commercial broiler equipment by opening or closing the passage in response to an electrical signal. When energized with 24 VAC, the internal valve mechanism changes position to permit gas movement, while de-energizing stops the flow. The valve is installed in the gas supply line leading to the broiler burner assembly, using a 1/4-inch compression connection for attachment to the tubing. It operates as part of the appliance's gas control circuit, coordinating fuel delivery with the electrical controls during heating cycles and burner operation.
