Tri-Star VC-60059-00 Door Gasket works by creating a seal between the door and the frame of the oven to ensure that the heat does not escape when the oven is in operation. It operates by the use of its flexible rubber design that compresses evenly when the door is closed to ensure that the internal conditions are kept in check. This gasket is put around the edge of the oven door, it is installed in the special channel where the sealing material will be held.
