The Scotsman 12-2586-23 Water Pump Motor Assembly 240 V 4.38 GPM is an electrical power converter with a power of 240 V that is used to pump up to 4.38 GPM of water in the system. It works by heating internal parts such that the shaft and impeller rotate to create pressure that pulls water in and pushes connecting lines. This unit is mounted in the pump chamber of the ice machine or refrigeration unit inlet and outlet connected to the water plumbing and it is linked to the power and control circuits to pump water as a normal operation.
