Description

The Hobart XNC8X81 Thermostat SA translates temperature changes at the sensing end into mechanical movement inside the control frame. The 200-400F interval sets the specified adjustment range. A nickel-sensing bulb measures 3/16" in diameter and 6-7/16" in length connected through a 24" capillary tube. Heat reaching the bulb changes pressure within the sealed sensing system moving internal contacts and altering the associated electrical circuit. The sensing section is located near the controlled heat source on commercial food-heating systems.
