Description

The Sporlan Y1001-FBV-1/4-C Expansion Valve regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator by responding to temperature changes at the sensing bulb, liquid refrigerant is expanded and turned into a gas. The valve has a 1/4 inlet ID and 3/8 outlet ID with respective 2-1/4 and 2-1/8 connection lengths, which allows it to be installed in the liquid line close to the evaporator. The hinge can be installed in tight refrigeration or air conditioning systems where accurate control of the flow is required.
