Star Mfg Y8838 Burner Valve is a gas control part that is used to control the flow of fuel to a burner in commercial cooking equipment compatible with it. It is fitted with a 1/8-inch NPT threaded connection to fit inside the gas supply line of the appliance to allow a regulated output of flame. It maintains constant temperatures of the heat in the cooking process by accurately controlling the gas supply. This valve is normally installed at the back of the front control panel of ranges, griddles, or ovens and is a component of the entire gas distribution system.
