The Groen Z076651 Drain Solenoid Valve 1/2" FPT 110/120V is used to regulate the flow of water by opening or closing its internal passage when electrically energized. It enables the liquid to be drained out of the appliance automatically when the solenoid is on and to turn off when it is off. The valve is intended to fit into commercial kettles or any other equipment with a 1/2" FPT connection and it will be mounted on the connection to fit the existing water or drainage system of the appliance.
