Description

The Hobart 00-412788-00001 Thermocouple 18" Long .20‑30 MV for the 1900 Series H/D is a temperature-sensing safety part used in gas equipment. It senses when a pilot flame and produces a small electrical voltage that tells the control valve to stay open. When the flame is extinguished, it ceases to produce the voltage and causes the gas valve to close to prevent the unsafe flow of gas. This is fitted in the burner assembly of the heavy-duty gas appliances and is used together with the gas control system to facilitate proper ignition and safe operation in the kitchen setting.
