Description

The Groen 097005 Steam Safety Relief Valve works by automatically releasing excess unit pressure when it reaches the preset limit, while its 1/2" NPT connection provides the threaded interface for proper pressure discharge. The chrome finish protects the valve surface as the internal spring-loaded mechanism opens and closes in response to changing steam pressure. This is installed on compatible commercial systems and other steam-operated foodservice equipment, where the 1/2" NPT threaded fitting connects it to the steam system for controlled pressure release during operation.
