Description

The Southbend 1182628 Natural Gas Pilot Assembly, works by providing a constant pilot flame which ignites the main burner, once the appliance is on. It directs natural gas into the pilot tube, generating a small controlled flame, which maintains the burner system in a steady state of ignition. This pilot is generally installed in the combustion chamber of cooking systems like ovens or ranges, in which it connects the main gas supply system and ignition system. It is an essential part of starting the heating process, and it provides a continuous source of flame to be used in efficient burner activation, within commercial kitchen settings.
