The Comstock Castle 17017 Gas Safety Valve TS11 is used to control the flow of gases and provide overpressure protection through the automatic release of the gases when the pressure exceeds a safe level. Gas is introduced and removed through the 3/8" NPT ports with the 3/16" CCT pilot ports providing the ability to connect a pilot system for ignition or control. The valve is placed in the line with other commercial gas appliances, and it is connected to burners and pilot assemblies.
